A to Z in Bread Maker: Banana Bread
Another A to Z in Bread Maker recipe to share with all of you. My darling boy loves this bread so much because it has a unique texture (something in between cake and bread...LOL! too difficult to describe).
This is a quick, easy and oh so delicious Banana Bread Bread Maker recipe makes a tender loaf that is filled with a delicate, creamy combination of banana, buttermilk and honey.
1 1/2 cups Sliced Banana
125ml Buttermilk
2 tbsp Canola Oil (or vegetable oil)
2 tbsp Honey
1 1/4 tsp Salt
254gm Bread Flour
120gm Wholemeal Flour
1 3/4 tsp Instant Yeast
Topping:
Rolled Oats (optional)
Directions:
- Place all the ingredients in the bread maker pan following the order given in your manufacturer's instructions, or in the order listed here. (Note: the dough is a little watery but need not to worry!)
- Set the machine for Basic setting and 1.5lbs size, and set the Crust/Color setting to light.
- Just before the machine starts to bake, sprinkle some rolled oats on the top.
- When baking is complete, turn the loaf out on a wire rack and leave it to cool before slicing the bread.
