Bread Maker Chocolate Chip Butter Cake

By 01:46:00 , , , ,

On the day I decided to invest in the Tesco Bread Maker I don't only wish to bake bread simply because I'm a Cake-lover. Do you know the first thing I bake after unboxing the bread maker is a cake....and it was a total failure!

My first cake baked using the bread maker
Cake-Failure
The cake was still wet in middle but still edible just that I have to discard the middle part. All my friends were anticipating for the result of my bread maker cake and I failed to the max. One of my friend jokingly commented that I've just confirmed that bread maker can't bake cake and thanked me for being the guinea pig. Of course I didn't stop exploring.....so many cakes have ended in the trash bin up to a point that I lost count on the unsuccessful cakes.

And finally I found a recipe that works wonderfully and I was over the moon when I saw how perfect the cake has turned out. I have shared this recipe on few Facebook groups and received many positive feedback on this superb cake recipe.

Bread Maker Chocolate Chip Butter Cake

100gm Unsalted Butter
30gm Raw Sugar (less sweet version, sweet tooth version: add 25-30gm more)
30ml Milk
2 Eggs (beaten)
200gm Pancake Mix (I used Pillsbury Pancake Mix Original)
1/2 cup Chocolate Chip

  1. Put the milk, butter, sugar, beaten eggs and pancake mix in the bread maker pan, or in the order given in your manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Start with Cake setting for 10 minutes (Maximum! Don't over mix otherwise the cake will be dense and rubbery), after 5 minutes add the chocolate chip (you can also sprinkle the chips once the mixture is done).
  3. After 10 minutes on Cake setting, scrape the mixture and smooth the top. Bake using Bake setting for about 40-45 minutes or until the skewer (satay stick) comes out hot and clean.
  4. Let the cake to cool on a wire rack before slicing.

  5. This chocolate chip butter cake made in a bread maker looks delicious. I enjoy baking various cakes using new recipes, but it can be a time-consuming process. In my daily routine, it becomes difficult to find the time to bake. However, as a provider of essay writing services at Cheap essay writing help, I can still indulge in my passion for baking. I tried your recipe soon because it's too easy, and I can satisfy my cake cravings.
