Orange Chicken Wings

By 22:47:00 , , , ,

Today I went out for grocery shopping and saw some really nice chicken wings at the poultry section so I grabbed 6 medium-large chicken wings for not more than RM 9.

I have no idea what I'm going to do with these wings...buy first, think later (LOL!).

I rummaged through the kitchen to see if I can create something from scratch to marinate these wings. Found an orange in the fridge so I decided to make full use of it....the juice and the zest, in they go with the wings then I just go with my "taste-gination" (not an English word..haha!) by adding the rest of the ingredients and let the marinate begins!

Seriously, I have no idea how these wings will taste like so hopefully it will turn out good :)

Result: Smells really nice and the chicken wings taste good with bursting tangy flavor. My darling boy loves these wings so much....he started walking and hanging out in the kitchen when the aroma of the wings fills the kitchen and wanting so much to get the first bite..haha!

TAKE-2 FOR THE SAME RECIPE

Second take on the same recipe but this time around I skipped the "steaming" method which I wrapped the chicken wings in aluminium foil before airfrying /AirBBQ.

Marinate the meat according to the recipe then preheat the AirFryer at 180°C for about 3 minutes. Place the chicken wings/drummets on the frying basket and brush with the with marinate sauce, then let it AirBBQ for 15-18 minutes. Halfway through, flip the chicken wings/drummets and brush again with the remaining marinates then continue to let it AirBBQ.
See that little fingers, he's trying to run away with the drummets!
